Alpenstube Restaurant

Our beautiful and popular slope-side restaurant, Alpenstube Restaurant is full-service with an inviting menu that features our famous Nacho Mountain along with a wide variety of appetizers, sandwiches, gourmet burgers, salads and house specialties. Our menu focus is to use regional, fresh, and natural ingredients whenever possible creating many on-trend and healthier menu items. Our burgers this season are made from Northwest 100% fresh, all-natural (no hormones or antibiotics) Black Angus. Our beverage selection features Northwest Microbrews, a great wine list (featuring varietals from the Columbia Gorge Appellation), and fabulous Hot Sippers. On weekends and holidays, enjoy the ambiance of the Alpenstube Loft where you can meet your friends around the fireplace.

For Après Ski, there is a special small plate menu every day after 3 PM (until 6 PM when we have night skiing) along with reduced pricing on beer and wine.

Families are welcome at anytime…we feature a great kids menu!

Located in the North Lodge / Slope Level, Fresh Tracks Deli, has fresh, healthy, quality food and hospitable service done consistently and quickly is the mission for our popular Fresh Tracks Deli. Fresh Tracks offers rice bowls, specialty sandwiches, Panini, wraps, salads and other fresh, healthful faire. We strive to use quality local & regional ingredients (organic or natural when possible). Also popular are the fresh smoothies, espresso, healthy beverages, parfaits, gluten-free cookies & brownies and organic steel-cut oatmeal.

  • This year ALL of our soups and chilis are gluten-free.

Historic Mid-Mountain Warming Hut

Huckleberry Inn

Huckleberry Inn is family owned and has been operating since 1966, Huckleberry Inn has become a well known landmark on Mt Hood. Centrally located in Government Camp, Huckleberry Inn offers easy access to ski areas, cross country paths, and in the summer, to hiking trails and mountain lakes. With sixteen rooms for lodging, the dorm-style facilities for ski or tour groups; the steakhouse (open during the holiday week and ski season weekends) and the 24 hour family-style restaurant, Huckleberry Inn caters to everyone

This place is a local watering hole like some have said and yes you will feel a little out of place when everyone looks at you when you walk through that door but…. the service is great, the bartenders are super nice and the food is AWESOME!!!!! This place has become my favorite and I’ll be eating here EVERY TIME I go up to Mt. Hood.
